LAVA-LAVA
A plain weave cotton cloth usually cut into short pieces 36-in. X 72-in. wide. They are printed in native designs for the South Sea Islands. Used for dress wear. Heavy sized yarns are used. About 64 ends and 60 picks per inch, of 16's to 24's yarns.
